PLens Terms of Use

These terms apply to PLens, provided by Blue Byte Apps, an independent studio operated by Amir Pirzad. By using the app, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.
What PLens provides
PLens uses camera capture, on-device text recognition, and AI to explain packaged products. Results can be incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date. Always check the physical package, especially ingredients, allergens, warnings, dosage, and safety instructions. PLens does not provide medical, nutritional, or safety advice and does not guarantee a product is suitable for you.
Scans and purchases
The current free allowance is three included scans. A Premium subscription currently includes 100 scans per subscription period. Once included scans are used, you may buy additional scan credits if offered. The current extra-scan pack contains 50 credits. Extra credits are consumed after included scans. Unused included Premium scans reset when a new subscription period is recognized; free scans do not reset periodically. Extra scan credits are tracked on the device and are not part of the monthly included allowance.
Subscriptions and extra-scan packs are sold through Apple's in-app purchase system. The paywall and Apple's purchase confirmation show the actual product, price, billing period, and any trial or introductory offer before you buy. An auto-renewing subscription continues and Apple charges your account until you cancel it through your Apple subscription settings. Cancel before renewal to avoid the next charge. Cancellation leaves access available through the paid period, subject to Apple's rules. You can restore eligible purchases in PLens Settings. Apple handles billing and refund requests under its policies.
Scan counts and extra credits are stored on this device. Restoration of a purchase may depend on the same Apple account, available transaction history, and local records. Contact support if a purchase is missing.
Acceptable use and availability
Use PLens only for lawful purposes and do not attempt to interfere with the app or its services. Camera access and an internet connection are required for live analysis. AI responses, third-party services, and product availability may change or be interrupted. We may update features or allowances for future offerings; the terms presented at purchase govern that transaction.
Liability and legal rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, PLens is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted service or error-free analysis. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable consumer rights. Apple is responsible for App Store payment processing, not product-analysis results.
