This Privacy Policy explains how Forge handles information when you use the app.
1. Overview
Forge is a goal planning and daily routine app developed by Blue Byte Apps. We designed Forge to keep your planning data on your device and to minimize data collection.
2. Information You Provide
When you use Forge, you may enter information such as goals, routines, schedules, reflections, and mood entries. This information is used only to provide the app’s features.
3. How Your Data Is Stored
Your content is stored locally on your device using Apple system storage. Forge does not require account creation and does not operate its own remote backend for syncing or storing your personal planning data.
4. Notifications
Forge can send optional local notifications for reminders you enable, including task reminders, planning reminders, and empty-day reminders. Notification scheduling happens on your device. You can turn notifications off at any time in the app or in iOS Settings.
5. Widgets
If you use Forge widgets, the app may share a limited snapshot of relevant app data with the widget extension through Apple’s app group storage so the widget can display current information on your device. This data remains on-device.
6. Data Sharing
Blue Byte Apps does not sell your personal information. Forge does not share your in-app planning data with third parties except where required by law or where sharing is necessary through Apple platform services you choose to use, such as system-level app distribution, crash reporting, or analytics provided by Apple.
7. Third-Party Services
Forge is distributed through Apple platforms such as the App Store. Apple may collect certain technical, diagnostic, purchase, or analytics information under its own policies. Please review Apple’s privacy documentation to understand how Apple handles that information.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
Your data stays on your device until you delete it. Forge also includes an in-app option to reset and remove stored app data. Deleting the app may also remove locally stored data, subject to Apple’s platform behavior and any device backups you maintain.
9. Children’s Privacy
Forge is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through a dedicated online service.
10. Security
We aim to follow reasonable design and platform practices to protect your information. However, no method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date on this page.
